Publisher's Synopsis
The true story of two WWII pilots who were on a training mission over Connecticut in 1944 testing a newly developed radar system for Hellcat fighter planes for the U.S. Navy. Making test passes at each other one plane came in too close to the other plane and they collided in midair. Both Hellcat planes plummeted towards the ground and both pilots were killed. Some 70 years later they were remembered after being forgotten for all those years. This book tells the story of their lives, the crash, and the aftermath.
