Charlie's siblings are all successful. They've gone to college, found mates, had kids, and made something of themselves. Meanwhile, Charlie is a college drop out who feels like an outsider in his own family. He's found some stability by working at a local cupcake shop, but it's not enough. He tells himself he's better off alone, but is it actually true? Who needs a family that doesn't even remember his birthday?
