Publisher's Synopsis
This work is addressed to foreign language teachers interested in the approaches used in Rudolf Steiner schools, and also class teachers who teach foreign languages needing practical guidelines. It arose from discussions in Britain about language teaching problems stemming from the shortage of qualified language teachers, and the lack of training opportunities. The result of co-operative efforts, "Foreign Language Teaching" is enhanced: by analyzed live-lesson transcripts; by shared experiences; by plays as examples to use and work with; and by a set of guidance notes for Michael Stott's "Class VII Utopie", an introductory German textbook.
