Exports to Japan, second only to the Netherlands, were up and con stituted the bulk of the quantity going to Asia. However, increases also occurred in shipments to Korea, the Philippine Republic and Taiwan. Mexico, Ouba, and Canada were the principal North American destinations, and Egypt and the Union of South Africa the major outlets in Africa.
