Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Foreign Agricultural Trade of the United States: Mart/April 1984
Territory Unmanufacturedfor farm product exports during the first 5 months of fiscal year 1984 (october 1983-february 1984) rose to billion from the $15 billion shipped during the same months the previous year. Higher corn and soybean prices boosted the value of exports, while total volume declined primarily because of lower soybean shipments. February exports dropped below those of the first 4 months and may continue this downtrend as Southern Hemisphere crops reach world markets.
