Publisher's Synopsis
Two California boys, coping with the loss of their mother, find themselves uprooted when their father is transferred to a military base in northern Michigan. When the boy's father must leave prior to Christmas to fulfill his secret mission, the boys are surprised by a chance encounter. Author comments: Based on numerous requests, I chose to create the Illustrated version of FOR THE LOVE OF ST. NICK. In addition to the four pencil drawings by acclaimed artist, Al Ochsner, four additional scenes have been added that were not part of the original book.
