In our short time on earth, our hearts have to travel from here to heaven. This book is dedicated to that journey. Its heart consists of four stories - two about the patriarch Jacob, and two about a man and a wife who live in the Greek port-city Thessalonica. They lived at the dawn of Judaism and Christianity, yet their struggles are somehow ours. This book was purpose-written. Its publication coincides with the 2016 stewardship season of All Saints Episcopal Church in Riverside, California.
