Publisher's Synopsis

Flowing Blade Bushido is a neo-feudalistic science-fiction adventure comic book series that follows the exploits of Kumo, a young shinsengumi officer trapped in the middle of an international feud between several countries, as the flying city of Zairaku lurks in the sky.

This series follows the life and struggles of a young man named Kumonryu Musashi, Kumo to his friends, in the year 3025, over five-hundred years after the Great War. In this neo-feudalistic science fiction adventure comic, a select few humans have gained the ability to manipulate primary forces of the universe. This power is known as the Aether-Effect. As Kumo learns about the power hidden within him, he and his friends embark on a journey to stop the world from repeating its mistakes as power hungry provinces across the world seek to reestablish their military dominance.

Although the story is largely based on Kumo's adventure, it is also one of friendship, family and redemption as the characters discover that they are better suited confronting the dangers of the chaotic world together than they ever were apart.
