Publisher's Synopsis
This book is a loose compilation of flower accounts mainly from private revelation to blessed souls and from apparitions of Our Lady. Devotional art since ancient times depicts Our Lady with flowers. The prayer of the rosary is associated with flowers. Countless miraculous events include flowers. The accounts gathered for Flowers for the Triumph are arranged in a chronological trail through the garden of time to give historical and consoling stories about flowers in the life of the Church from ancient times to present day. Many aspects of flowers are represented including their fragrance, color, type, symbolism, prayers, miracles, and imagery. The stories that have been compiled are assuredly only a small fraction of all the heavenly flower miracles that have been worked on earth, however, it is my hope that you enjoy them and be inspired.
The final portion of the book discusses triumph. In one sense this compilation of flower accounts celebrates lives and events that have triumphed; Heroic people who forsook themselves and their comforts to propagate the seeds of faith and are now enjoying the fruits of their labor in the heavenly garden. However, for us who work toward our personal triumph into the kingdom of heaven, there remains an event that awaits us as promised by the Virgin Mary at Fatima, the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart. It has been promised for 92 years and still we pursue that enticing promise...triumph. In messages to Mirjana, one of the visionaries from the Medjugorje apparition phenomena, Our Lady says we play a critical role in this triumph. She needs our good will, our prayers and our example to carry out her triumph. Events are waiting on our response. There is much we can do and much that our Mother expects from us to advance to the time of the triumph. In the subset of Medjugorje messages that speak about flowers and triumph. Our Lady has said, "I want you to be like a flower that blossoms for Jesus... Let the family be a harmonious flower...your life is fleeting like a spring flower...help my Immaculate Heart to triumph in the sinful world." One may find in the flower messages, a clear impetus for all to act in a decisive way for Christ and for triumph. May we all triumph, all for God!
