Vera Wright-Turner is the child of a 15 year old drug addict. At two months old she was found, dumped in a trash can, with a note which read: 'please forgive me, my mother is only 15 and I knew that I could never do what she did'. Almost inevitably, Vera ends up working in the sex industry. As hustling to get by is the only life she has never known, it takes a great deal of faith in the unknown to step into the world and forge a new life. She has to try, though, and try she does. Unexpected consequences ensue?
