Publisher's Synopsis
This text tells the story of the crew of a Catalac catamaran that set out on a 1500-mile delivery trip to Durban harbour, past hostile shores. In the process most of the crew left for one reason or another, and the author of the book was left to make the trip on his own. One of the engines failed, problems arose, the islands north of Madagascar were not friendly, while the island of Dzaoudzi contained the French foreign legion. this is a fascinating story of problems overcome, and lessons to learn.
