Publisher's Synopsis
A seemingly routine flight of four Massachusetts Air National Guard jet fighter planes becomes a fight for life when a series of incidents causes three of the four to come down, not on dry land, but in different parts of the Atlantic Ocean.
This story focuses mainly on the ordeal of one of the pilots as he fights to stay alive in the air and in the angry ocean. It would not be, however, the only battle with danger he would face in his 20 years of flying Uncle Sam's planes, virtually all of it in peacetime.
