The Allied Realms once stood as a bastion of peace and providence, twenty nine realms of various races, working together as one against the threats that lined the borders of the known world.
However, a great threat loomed. An invader so powerful that the might of the allies would be unable to stop them. A grand warlock of the Bri-Tisa order, known as Karl-Asvarian offered his solution. To breed a new creature, of magic and might. A creature that would be nothing more than a tool to protect the realms from any who may threaten it. This beast would be known as Dragon. With no other options available the grand council voted for the birth of the new defender of the realms, unaware of the dark magic used to bring the creature to life. At first, all was calm. The dragons grew in number as the warlocks gained confidence in their skills, creating beasts of majesty and awe, and the enemy forces would face their fate and pay the price for daring to invade the realms. But the dragons plotted, under one all powerful king. The incredible golden dragon Voldestus. Under his rule the dragons would purge the world and end the Allied Realms. For the dragons inner fire was theirs to command, and theirs alone. Seven hundred years later the world is a very different place, charred and ripped asunder by the might of the dragon horde. But there is hope, as a young man discovers his true potential and a band of survivors hatch a plan to bring about a lasting peace.
