Publisher's Synopsis

Flannel is a story about a man - hardly a man - who has grown up in a country that is not his own. It has been twenty years since world war three, and his family has relocated from England to Colombia. They are called the white ones by the locals although they have been become Colombian in almost every way. Flann and his brother along with their neighborhood friends have created a club called the OED. It was really to pass the time and feel that they had something to belong to in the beginning, but as they grew up and discovered that their father had come to Colombia for other reasons, they are drawn into another world in which they discover that many things are not what they seem and they too are not what they thought they were. The journey that they take uncovers new worlds, old alliances and brings them into a confrontation that could change the world.
