Since then, Stark, Captain America, Doom, Thor and Sif have begun to do the same for others, building a network of super-powered heroes hungry for change. Now they must band together to destroy the Maker's Council and restore freedom and free will to a world ruled from the shadows! Together they are the Ultimates! But when Cap reckons with the Maker's dismantling of nations by visiting the White House, it leads to a massive brawl with the deadly Midas - who's been holding a superhuman hostage as a power source!
