Publisher's Synopsis
Fish Singing Foxes is a delightful collection of two series of poems. One series borrows a line of poetry from a contemporary poet using it as an "on-ramp," a point of departure, and creates an entirely different poem from it. The second series serves as homage to Federico Garcia Lorca's Gacela poems, expanding upon the original form, and creating a series of musical, haunting refrains. J.P. Dancing Bear is editor for the American Poetry Journal and Dream Horse Press. He is the award-winning author of fourteen other collections of poetry. He lives in California.
