Each section unveils a different mountain, deals with a different heartache and conquers a different war. The book depicts a journey of redemption through self-discovery. The common themes running throughout the book are love, femininity, abuse, survival and heartbreak. Firstborn is a story about a young woman writing her way back to herself.
