Publisher's Synopsis
I find myself sitting here in the cluttered corner of a basement. Out of the corner of my eye I can see the flickering gloom of a candle letting off a sweet scent that illuminates the darkness. It seems as though I've been trapped in a basement all my life. I wonder where my life is going and where it has been. I try to think of the last time I was truly happy, and the earliest I can remember feeling truly happy was long ago, when I was ten. A while ago my grandmother past away, and I'll never forget some of the last words she said to me. She said "I wish I could have seen your beautiful smile again."
