Publisher's Synopsis
An optimistic and physically imposing young man leaves home for the open road seeking peace, acceptance and his place in this ol' world. Kevin seems untouchable until he comes upon an old woman of the Nez Perce people in Idaho who takes him to be a spiritual warrior sent to her by the Great One. Kevin reluctantly joins in battle against the shamanic craft of her twisted, sinister twin sister, an inspiring battle between the forces of good and evil. I personally rate this fictional story NC17 because of the gritty realism seldom found in literary fiction. Throughout the novel the story is interspersed with Kevin's thoughts, dreams and memories which teem with images of a vivid and sometimes disturbing past.
