Publisher's Synopsis
In 1789, Eddy Adams awaits execution in Newgate Prison along with French puppeteer Henri Castillou. Escape is enabled by Calvert, an enigmatic gentleman who appears to have an altruistic interest in saving Eddy at times of danger, even during the French Revolution. Eddy's amazing exploits culminate in him becoming a Punch & Judy street entertainer.
