I was in the battle of my life. Nothing in my training had prepared me for this. I felt as if I had failed. I had failed my wife and my family. I had failed the church. "This is why it is said: 'Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.' Be careful, then, how you live" (Ephesians 5:14-15 NIV).
