Melt a piece of butter the size of an egg in a pint of new milk. Beat the yolks of 5 or 6 eggs very light, stir into the milk some Indian meal; then add the eggs and a little salt. Make it rather stiffer than a flour pudding. Bake it in a quick oven in a buttered pan.
