Publisher's Synopsis
A group of Air Force Security Policemen assigned to Strategic Air Command's 96th Security Police Squadron at Dyess AFB, Abilene, Texas find themselves transported to 1880s Abilene after a nuclear mishap. Staff Sergeant Jim Hill and Airman First Class Scott Praytor see primary action when the bullets and grenades fly as they fight first with the townspeople and their strong sheriff, and then the Third Cavalry out of Fort Concho. The Air Force men's wits and wills are tested in a seemingly impossible mission - stay alive until they can be rescued - a feat no one may know how to complete.
