Liam is older: 18, reassuring, and caring, until Sara accidentally gets him into trouble with the police over his drug taking habit. Then she's forced to go on the run with him. They find a squat in London, where Sara's best friend Ruby lives with her boyfriend, but gradually they are all dragged into an underworld of drugs and homelessness. Sara and Ruby want to go home, but their boyfriends make them feel trapped and dependent - until the police raid.
