Publisher's Synopsis
A family of five live on a property called 'Bubble Gum Gully'. Dad Bruce and Mum Angie live there with their three children - Ruby who is 5, Archie who is 4 and baby Charlie. Charlie is a girl. Ruby goes to Prep and Mum drives her to meet the school bus everyday. On the weekends and school holidays Ruby goes with Dad to check the dams and mend fences. It is heaps of fun. Archie doesn't go to school and gets to go with Dad whenever he likes. Grennie and Grandad live next door on their property called 'Apple Grove'. They are Mum Angie's Mum and Dad. They come over and join in the fun activities. Sometimes Grandad helps Dad with some jobs. Today Ruby and Archie are going fencing with Dad and Grandad. They are taking the dogs with them and Mum has packed some yummi food for them to take along also. Baby Charlie is too young to spend a whole day driving around the farm, so she will stay home in her bouncer and watch Mum do the housework. Later Grennie will come for a visit.
