Last season, monthly average bean oil prices (crude, Decatur) edged up slightly from cents per pound in October 1962 to cents in March 1963. They declined to cents in September. Bean oil prices for the entire 1962 - 63 marketing year averaged cents per pound, down about 6 percent from the cents average the previous marketing year.
