This is the classic biography of Salvadoran revolutionary hero Farabundo Martì, who fought with Augusto Sandino in Nicaragua. Martì was a unionist and a key leader of the indigenous peasant uprising in 1932 that was brutally crushed in the massacre of 30,000 Salvadorans. He was captured and executed by the US-run National Guard.
Jorge Arias Gomez(author) was a revolutionary Salvadoran lawyer, professor and historian. He died in 2002.
