Lisa and Cherie are young sisters living in the town of Normal, Illinois. But their lives are anything but normal. Their father abused them considerably before he died, and now Lisa is struggling with the effects. But then she meets Martin, a charming man from Texas, and her life takes a dramatic turn. As a result of her relationship with Martin, she later meets Misty.
