When a brilliant scientist, his best friend, the woman he loves and her hot-tempered kid brother brave the unknown terrors of outer space, they are bombarded by cosmic rays and become imbued with superhuman powers, transforming into Mr Fantastic, The Thing, The Invisible Woman and The Human Torch.
