At the age of twenty, he was turned into what the Seminole people of South Florida refer to as a "Stikini"; an owl-werewolf-vampire monstrosity who must periodically feast on beating human hearts.
This can, to no one's surprise, cause complications: disposal of dead bodies, corruption of police evidence, and eluding pervasive surveillance cameras. Not to mention the need for any abomination over two hundred years old to maintain fictional identities, stay one step ahead of the authorities and to provide funds for their lavish lifestyle.
That's where Athena Stavros comes in... whether she likes it, or not.
