Publisher's Synopsis
Garret Kearns, a UDR part-timer, is driving home from a late-night shift at the barracks when he's rammed off the road by a speeding car. Shots are fired and a girl makes a run for it from the other vehicle, but she's recaptured and disappears. The next day, Kearns is arrested without charge.
