Publisher's Synopsis
Four years have passed and Celeste is sought out by the same captain by whom she had been originally imprisoned. Subsequently Celeste is convinced the authorities in Codencia intend to recapture her thereby endangering the peaceful way of life she had grown to tolerate. Leaving her home she crosses the River Dyn into Codencia with her father and the captain and search for a town in the north which holds the seeds of a rebellion against the same government who are seeking her capture. There she meets a mysterious stranger who begins to exploit her unrealised mental strength and following a revolutionary address to the town convinces the population to rise up against their masters in the south. Can Celeste accomplish her idealistic plan for the continent with her new found ability and can she achieve the one final task which her father had set for her at the naming ceremony twenty three years previously?
