This book is intended to kick off the 2nd American Revolution by creating a Facebook-Type of Social Media web site wherein every concerned American citizen sick and tired of the two-party monopoly of ideas and wanting to try something completely different - REAL DEMOCRACY unfettered and uncensored or controlled by any individual, party or corporation. With a successful Facebook-style experience where everyone can exchange political ideas and support - we can create a new kind of government fit for the modern era, abandoning the one we have now based on horse-and-buggy technology created for us by people who were perplexed by problems of a much simpler age and not even close to the perplexity of the problems that we face today such as Global Warming, Terrorism at our doorstep, over-spending, government spying on us, unfair and unscrupulous tax laws, lobbyists bribing our politicians and thus robbing us of our freedoms. I could go on and on. This book explains why it is time to PUT REAL SOLUTIONS ON THE NATIONAL BALLOT for the electorate to decide, not the crooks in Washington who know how to wear the best suits and ties and not much else. The 2nd American Revolution will amend the plan put forth by our founding fathers who gave us the beginnings of a democracy but who were too timid to give us the WHOLE ENCHILADA. They couldn't even dream about a future where people can chat with one another all over the world, exchanging ideas, money, even transporting goods and services to each other without any help from any other sources. We show how a Facebook type of electronic meeting place can replace the old system of sending folks to Congress to do the bidding of the people and get rid of the middlemen, people who get it wrong most of the time, people who have their own self-interest at heart, people who actually work against the common good more often than not, people who talk as though they believe in democracy, but who work to kill it every day behind closed doors and in smoke-filled rooms. We are now 20 trillion dollars in debt and headed in a mad race to the bottom. So one has to wonder where all the money has gone. When Congress refuses to balance the budget - someone else is going to have to do it. When Congress refuses to squash the terrorists as easily as we could and should if we were properly lead. If Congress refuses to reform the tax codes, someone else is going to have to do it. When Congress refuses to fix the pot holes and/or legalize Pot, someone else is going to have to do it. When Congress refuses to do anything about Climate Change. When Congress refuses to do anything about the homeless, someone else is left to do it. When Congress refuses to do anything about the schools, someone else is left to do it. When Congress refuses to do anything about all the fires raging all over this country - someone else is going to have to do it. When Congress refuses to even read the legislation they are creating and exempts themselves from all of the laws they are creating - someone else is going to have to do it. When Congress sends all of the best jobs overseas, someone else is going to have to reverse them. When Congress refuses to clean the air that we breathe and the water that we drink and even the food that we eat, someone else is going to have to do it. When Congress continually raises their salaries and incomes for doing less and less, someone else is going to have to control them. That someone is you and me brother and sister. That someone has to get going on this now before they bring down on us all the worst disaster in all human history, the death of our country for sure and possibly even the death of our planet.
