When someone other than her captor shows, she's suspicious; thinking it's another one of the twisted man's ploys to torment her. Still, she goes along, keeping a close eye. Before long, she realizes her captor wasn't the worst that could happen. Everywhere Amber turns, she's fighting for her life and the heart of a broken man she's come to love.
