Publisher's Synopsis
In 2005, Arsenal and Manchester United, the two most successful English clubs of the last 10 years came together for what was meant to be the last FA Cup Final to take place at the Millennium Stadium. It was both teams' final chance of winning silverware after falling short in all other competitions. United dominated from the kickoff but were unable to break through Arsenal's defence and after 90 minutes the deadlock hadn't been broken. The game went to extra time and there were chances for both sides to win, but neither side could make the breakthrough. The lottery of a penalty shootout followed and Arsenal were triumphant, with captain Patrick Vieira scoring the winning penalty and bagging Arsenal their 10th FA Cup.
