After the tragedy of the Munich air disaster in 1958, which had a devastating effect on the Busby Babes, manager Matt Busby had to start all over again and rebuild his squad. After reaching the semi-final of the FA Cup in 1962, United were back at Wembley in 1963 to face a Leicester City side that had finished that season in 4th and were very much the favourites heading into the match.
