Plan of Course. - The object of the course being to train the student to talk effectively upon what ever touches him most nearly, two means to this. End suggest themselves. First, to give the student a working knowledge of the structure and qualities of a successful speech. Second, to include in the course a maximum amount of practice. In other words, a laboratory course, not a lecture course.
