Eighteen-year-old Kevin Trent Stryker has a burden to bear. Although he owes his life to Caitlin Amelia Magnon for saving him, the months since then have been awkward and distant. As they train together for the fights ahead, Kevin receives an invitation from the king of Aurana to compete in the World Tournament of Sport, to be held in the Solunar Empire.
