Quite simplistically Jesus intervened and propelled her forward. When I was a little girl, I had a dream of a woman that was confident, self-reliant, self-subsistent and resilient. A woman that I aspired to be like. I kept seeing her and wanted to become like her, she was graceful, articulate and well-balanced. but still there was a sadness about her, even though she was like a woman on a mission, in my dream she was inspiring, and I aspired to be like her. I was growing up in an abusive household, you never knew if you were going to survive, whether you will be allowed to eat or not. It was a home that you dared not dream. But I kept seeing this woman confident, free and established.
The dream faded through the hard times. Only to realise a few years later, That I became that woman. I was a girl looking at a future version of myself, why did I keep seeing this woman, I believed it was to give me hope and an assurance that I was going to survive and thrive.
