Why should Christians concern themselves with the theory of evolution or intelligent design? After all, if we believe God created everything, what difference does it make if He created the world instantly or used the process of evolution to develop everything gradually over long ages? The theory of evolution is so widely accepted today because it is the only theory which can be legally taught in our public school system, which is a politically protected monopoly.
