Europas Sicherheitspolitik im globalen Rahmen und im politischen Kontext: die Ergebnisse eines Symposiums der Oesterreichischen Offiziersgesellschaft in Innsbruck im September 1995. Die Beitraege behandeln die geopolitische und geostrategische Situation in Europa unter Beruecksichtigung der Rolle Russlands und der Rolle der NATO sowie der Perspektiven der Dynamik der russischen Hegemonialtendenzen und der Entwicklung des Mittelmeerraums als Faktoren im Gesamtbild der europaeischen Sicherheit. Weitere Beitraege sind Fragen der kuenftigen europaeischen Sicherheitskonfiguration gewidmet. Europe's safety politics, in a global and political context: the results of a symposium, held by the Austrian society of officers at Innsbruck in September 1995. The contributions deal with the geopolitical and geostrategic situation in Europe taking into account the role played by Russia and the NATO; furthermore an outlook on the dynamics of the Russian tendencies of hegemony and the development of the Mediterranean area, a view on the factors of the European safety as a whole. Further contributions are dedicated questions regarding the future of the European safety configuration.
