Publisher's Synopsis

The story basically concerns the conflict between good and evil. Innocence is predominant in the relationship between Wing and Splendor, who seems to Wing to be the Mentor he seeks. However, what Wing is not aware of is that Splendor is as far away from understanding the truth as any one being could be. The new life that Splendor seeks for Wing is a new life of delusion which Splendor is convinced is better. What Splendor does not realize is that he is self-deluding and unable to comprehend the difference between mind and spirit. Splendor has shown to be a self-centered, egotistical being who cannot compromise his position. The well-rehearsed scam worked for a while, but there is no longer a profit in it for him, so he must leave. Wing goes on struggling with his own quest, "the mere proof to others wolves do howl at the moon and you do exist." Through time, Wing discovers that he cannot struggle entirely alone and finds ultimate peace in an existence with a higher power which is essential to all beings.
