There were and still are four Of these Inns, which are societies or corporations for the education Of law students. In their Old-fashioned Way they correspond to our law schools. The courts are there, too, and the lawyers, young and Old, have chambers there, where, amid ancient traditions and somewhat gloomy surroundings, they live and even keep their families, or at least their servants' families.
