Eric Brand Revisited is a sequel to the authors first novel"Conscious of Guilt". It continues to trace the central character, Eric Brand a pensioner devastated by the brutal murders of an only son and daughter-in-law. His chronically ill wife dies from the consequences and bent on revenge Eric succumbs to a gruesome lifestyle of contract killing. Coulson, an immaculately dressed elderly man of military bearing is Eric's controller and supplies him with information on projected kills. On the trail of two deranged child killers and unable to get a clear opportunity to eliminate them he is forced to follow them onto a container ship in Tilbury. No match for the killers Eric plays a dangerous cat and mouse game culminating when the ship docks in Philadelphia.Exhausted by his exertions and back in England he decides to take a cruise with his loyal friends, Kevin and Betty Smith. On the island of Santorini he meets Laura an attractive widower and is immediately draw to her.Afraid he may lose her if she finds out about his murky past he vows to end the contract killing. As their love blossoms Eric moves into Laura's country Georgian house. Again Eric is devastated as Laura is brutally raped and beaten by two men. Consumed with rage Eric vows to track down the rapists and administer his personal justice
