Publisher's Synopsis
Taking into account recent research on the interdependence of Cultural and Political History, this book examines the influence of cultural factors on political decisions in the German Empire between 1871 and 1890. This is being done by studying the friction between decisionist and compromise-oriented methods of decision-making in certain areas of this multi-level system.
