Publisher's Synopsis

"I'm not pastorin' today" Pastor Lenny says as he waits in a diner for his brother Jack, and searches the want ads for a new job. Jack, a slick affluent attorney, shows up and we see the stark contrast between the two brothers. Jack leaves to take Lenny's boys to a big ball game. Kim, Lenny's friend and owner of the diner, challenges Lenny to be honest about what he's feeling. In an outburst, Lenny confesses he's resentful that he cannot provide for his family the way he would like. The sacrificial life of a pastor is taking its toll. Lenny is burned out. Then Kim reminds Lenny that it was his investment in her many years earlier that changed her life. And there have been many others like her. Kim affirms Lenny and his calling by saying "It's people like you that change the world." As the scene ends we see that Kim's words have impacted Lenny.
