Lucien Bonaparte Chase (December 5, 1817 - December 4, 1864) was an American politician and a member of the United States House of Representatives for Tennessee's 9th congressional district.Chase moved to Dover, Tennessee around 1838 and taught school. He studied law, was admitted to the bar, and began his practice in Charlotte, Tennessee in Dickson County. He moved to Clarksville, Tennessee and resumed the practice of law
