After introducing the three basic heat transfer processes, the book covers each in turn in greater depth. BASIC programming is introduced as an aid to problem solving in both 1D and 2D steady state conduction, and intransient conduction. BASIC programs are also used in the section on combined conduction and convection. Numerous worked examples and problems are provided throughout - many of them new for the second edition.
