Publisher's Synopsis
Nicole Macron's five short stories capture the feeling of the Holocaust mostly in 1944 and early 1945 Hungary when hatred, brutality and anarchy ruled. She skillfully and with sensitivity paints her stories, which transport the reader back to those times of horror.
The specific events and characters in all, but one story are fictional, however the atmosphere is as authentic as if Nicole witnessed them first hand.
It is hoped that Nicole will again reach into her good imagination and write further meaningful stories.
