The Story: Emrick Mastaglia becomes the first woman head coach in the NBA when she takes over for her late father. A dream job becomes a reality. He is actively seeking investors, the offer increasing from 10% to 40% seemingly overnight. What isn't he telling potential investors? Investor: Dillon Lennox is looking into the Shooters team on her father's behalf since he is currently in France at the Paris headquarters of Lennox Industries. Dillon sees Emrick as just another conquest until they actually sleep together. That changes everything for her. This time it's different; more than just fun and games. But Emrick knows the score and what kind of woman Dillon is and she's ready to move on. She's way too busy being under the microscope of public opinion to worry about what Dillon might think. The problem: Dillon digs into the books as part of the due diligence of investing in the team and soon becomes uneasy. It's not something she can point to and say this is off.
